How we develop

From land to handover

Every project we build passes through five stages we manage ourselves, from choosing the plot to handing over the keys.

    Choosing the land

    Location, feasibility and zoning are examined before we buy.

  2. 2

    Design

    Architecture and structure that balance sale value against quality of life.

  3. 3

    Permits

    Construction licence, municipal approvals and compliance with the earthquake code.

  4. 4

    Construction

    Site management, contractor oversight and quality control on the ground.

  5. 5

    Handover

    Completing the title deed formalities and handing over ready to live in.

Buying through a marketer, or buying from the developer

Maher develops its own projects and stays directly responsible for you from choosing the land through handover — with no intermediary between you and whoever does the building.

Through an intermediary

  • An intermediary sits between you and the company actually building
  • Nobody carries responsibility for the handover date
  • Other companies' projects presented as the seller's own
  • Second-hand specifications and prices, sometimes out of date
  • A commission added on top of the developer's price
  • Contact ends when the contract is signed
  • General legal and tax claims with no source given
  • Hard to reach whoever actually decides
