Turkey stands out for how easy it is to buy property there compared with many developed countries or world capitals that cannot match it for beauty, modernity, elegance, infrastructure and major facilities .
First: the documents required from the buyer: 1- A translation of the passport, then certified by a notary .
2- Opening a bank account for the buyer at one of the Turkish banks so that the price of the property can later be transferred .
3- 2 passport photographs
4- Obtaining the tax number (vergi no), a number given to every tourist or foreign resident in Turkey to make all their official transactions easier .
Second: the documents required from the seller: 1- A copy of the project's building permit and its municipal registration document .
2- A copy of the Tapu document .
3- A copy of the company's registration at the chamber of commerce and a copy of its trading activity .
Third: signing the contract:
1- If you buy directly from the construction company, the contract is signed between the buyer and the construction company, and it is usually in Arabic and Turkish .. or English and Turkish
2- If you buy from the owner of the home, you sign a standard contract used in every estate agency office, with a small deposit paid and recorded in the contract .
The remaining balance is paid when the property is registered at the Tapu .Transfer of ownership.
