Property residence permit in Turkey
A property residence permit in Turkey is a residence permit document you obtain when you buy a property in Turkey, issued by the immigration directorates

in the Turkish provinces, provided the property meets the conditions for obtaining a property residence permit in Turkey. It allows

its holder to enjoy the rights of education, healthcare and living in Turkey legally. This permit is

temporary and has to be renewed each year. It is granted to foreign nationals who wish to own property in Turkey

and settle there, and a spouse and family members, children under the age of 18, are also entitled to a property residence permit.


The value of the property behind the residence application must be more than 200,000 US dollars.
How to obtain a property residence permit in Turkey when buying a property in Turkey:
1- Buy a property in one of the Turkish provinces and obtain the Tapu deed.
2- Book an appointment online for the property residence permit.
3- Prepare the documents needed to obtain a property residence permit in Turkey
4- Attend the interview at the immigration directorate in person, or through an agent holding an official power of attorney.
5- Hand the required papers and documents to the officer in charge.
6- Pay the fees charged for the property residence permit in Turkey.
7- Wait for the property residence permit to be approved by the immigration administration in the province where the application was made in Turkey.
8- The residence card is sent by post to the investor's home address, which was registered when the papers were handed in.

Documents required for a property residence permit in Turkey
To apply for a property residence permit, the following documents must be submitted:
1- The property residence permit application form.
2- A passport valid for at least 6 months.
3- A visa stamped with entry into Turkey.
4- DASK earthquake insurance for the property.
5- A medical insurance certificate. It can be obtained from Turkish insurance companies.
6- The family record book translated into Turkish and certified by a notary in Turkey, the noter.
7- The Tapu deed registered in the property owner's name.
8- Personal photographs. 4 of them
9- A steady monthly income of no less than 500 dollars a month.
10- A bank account.
