Turkey and the UAE: elevating relations
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said the time has come to put forward peace and regional cooperation initiatives, affirming that the security of the UAE and all Gulf states is part of the security and stability of his own country.
He also said that his visit to Abu Dhabi would allow for the further elevation of cooperative relations between the two countries, affirming that Turkish-Emirati rapprochement is gaining new momentum through mutual visits.
The Turkish president's remarks came in a speech on Tuesday, during his meeting with Emirati investors and businessmen, on the second day of his official visit to Abu Dhabi.

Erdoğan noted that Turkish-Emirati relations moved to a new phase with the visit of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed to Turkey last year.
The Turkish president explained that Turkey and the UAE possess the strong, shared will needed to develop trade relations between the two countries and boost investments.

He affirmed that his meetings with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi confirm this shared will, reflected in the two countries signing 13 agreements in various fields.
With the warming of political relations between Turkey and the UAE, Emirati investments have begun to appear across many sectors in Turkey, such as finance and banking, shopping centres, hotels and tourist resorts, logistics sectors such as shipping companies, as well as online retail companies.
The company “ADQ Holding” announced that it is looking for investment opportunities in Turkey in sectors including healthcare, industry and food manufacturing, according to the company's CEO, who noted that “"The moment a new market opens up for us, our team is there."
