Find out which provinces sold the most property over the past ten months

Since the start of the year property investment has been booming in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic
and Turkish provinces have competed for the top places for sales in Turkey

Property sales in Turkey over the first ten months of this year reached two million 410 thousand and 816 properties across the country

This was announced by the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, part of the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation

The statement said the number of properties sold across the country during last September came to 316 thousand and 628

Istanbul province held on to first place for sales with 306 thousand and 582 properties during the first months of 2021, followed by Ankara, then İzmir, Antalya and Konya

Title deed fees on all sale transactions came to 16 billion 690 million 378 thousand Turkish lira, or roughly 1.73 billion US dollars
