Notaries given the power to draw up transfer-of-ownership contracts

To ease congestion at the land registry offices in the municipalities

when drawing up contracts for the sale and purchase of property (transfer of ownership)
a presidential decision has been issued and published in the Official Gazette
giving the Turkish notary the power to draw up contracts

for the sale and purchase of property, or what is known as (transfer of ownership) .
The aim is to ease congestion at the land registry offices in the municipalities,

and the decision takes effect,
as of the first of July / 2023 /
