How to get an appointment at Turkish hospitals

The Turkish government's e-Devlet portal has launched an online link for booking an appointment at Turkish hospitals before heading to any Turkish hospital.

Public Turkish hospitals are linked by a special system connecting all hospitals across Turkey, which allows appointments at Turkish hospitals to be booked online.
There are two ways to book an appointment at Turkish hospitals:

1. By calling the number 182. You must be fluent in Turkish to be able to book an appointment
Calls for booking hospital appointments in Turkey are made through the number 182,

you will first be answered by an automated voice response, then transferred to the employee responsible for booking appointments at Turkish hospitals.

2. Through the MHRS hospital appointment booking system, or in Turkish, Merkezi Randevu Sistemi
The method is as follows:
1. Go online to the official hospital appointment booking link in Turkey,

which is: the Turkish hospital appointment booking link.

2. After entering the link, several options will appear, and you can notice an option on the right side of the page

which is: "Randevu AL", meaning to take or book a new appointment at the hospital.

3. After clicking to book an appointment, a box will appear, and among the options is "new membership" ("Üye Ol").

We will enter this option and register the national number that begins with 99, which is the same as the Kimlik number.

4. Then we write the first name, surname, gender and date of birth, and tick the box marked

"Üyelik ve Gizlilik Politikası Okudum, kabul ediyorum" (I have read and accept the membership and privacy policy).

5. In this step, we complete filling in the required information, which is: mobile phone number,

landline number, email address, password, secret security question, and security image.

6. After filling in all the required fields in the previous two steps, we click "Bitti" (Done).

With this, we will have registered a new account on the Turkish hospital appointment booking website, mhrs.gov.tr.

7. After that, we will have new membership, and we log into the site with the number starting with 99 and the password,

along with the verification code shown on the screen, and then request to log in.

8. After logging into the site with the new membership, we fill in the required options, which are as follows:

City name, the municipality it belongs to, the medical department, hospital name, hospital section, and doctor's name.
