How to open an account with the Turkish Ziraat Bank without a residence permit, using the kimlik and without depositing any money.

1- A kimlik (temporary protection card) beginning with the number 99, or a passport.
2- An electricity or water bill showing the home address correctly.
3- A tax number, obtained from the tax office.
4- A Turkish population register record, also known as an address document from the registry office, which can be obtained through e-Devlet.

How to open an account with the Turkish Ziraat Bank in a few very simple steps:

  • Prepare all the documents listed above.
  • Go to your nearest Ziraat Bank branch.
  • Take a ticket and wait, and when your turn comes go to the member of staff
  • Hand over your documents and tell the member of staff that you want to open a bank account
