Turkish property, the best selling in Europe in 2021
Property sales in Turkey took first place in Europe in 2021
after nearly 1.5 million properties were recorded during 2021
and in a statement from the Turkish Statistical Institute, TÜİK, property sales in 2021 reached their second highest peak ever, with 1 million 492 thousand sale transactions recorded
The institute noted that the record figure belonged to 2020, when it reached 1 million 499 thousand 316 sale transactions
Istanbul came first among the Turkish provinces as the city with the most home sales in Turkey in 2021
with 276 thousand 223 homes sold, taking 18.5 of all sales in the country
Mr Maher Al-Raheel, director of Maher Real Estate Investment, stated ” that Turkey tops the list of property sales among the European countries
and that a large share of those sales goes to foreigners in Turkey, where foreign investment in Turkish property reaches 3 billion US dollars
Al-Raheel added: the Arab nationalities investing most in Turkey are Iraqi, Libyan and Palestinian, as well as the Arab Gulf states
