By a presidential decree signed by His Excellency President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Republic of Türkiye has announced
further measures to make travel easier for international visitors, granting the nationals of six countries an exemption from
visa requirements for tourist trips.
Under the decree published in the Official Gazette, nationals of the United States of America, Canada,
Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman are exempt from
the visa required to enter Türkiye for 90 days within a period of 180 days.
The exemption is part of Türkiye's efforts to strengthen diplomatic relations and encourage tourism,
which in turn deepens cultural contact and economic exchange between the countries covered by the decree.
It is worth noting that the visa exemption applies to tourist travel only, and that it answers
the needs and expectations of travellers hoping to discover the beauty and history of Türkiye more easily.
