Brides' Hill and its magnificent minarets

The hill looks out over most of Istanbul and has a number of cafés, restaurants and rest stops to welcome visitors and tourists .
Brides' Hill lies on the Asian side of Istanbul, on the Bosphorus shore in the Üsküdar district

Brides' Hill is made up of several gardens within the Üsküdar district, holding many different and beautiful plants

that draw a great many Turkish residents as well as foreign tourists, and because it is so beautiful and picturesque,

wedding celebrations are frequent in this garden, which is called Brides' Hill.
It also has the Brides' Hill mosque, the best known and largest of the mosques in this place, which many worshippers visit

to perform their prayers, and which tourists visit to take photographs to remember it by.

 

 

Brides' Hill divides into two parts : the first is called”Büyük Çamlıca”, that is, “Çamlıca” the larger,

rising 267 m above sea level, and being the higher of the two it offers very fine views.

The second: “Küçük Çamlıca”, the smaller, rising 229 m above sea level,

and full of wonderful gardens, lovely woods and walking trails.
