
Conditions for obtaining permanent residency in Turkey
Permanent residency is an official document that gives its holder the right to stay in Turkey legally, and Turkish residence permits come in several kinds: temporary, tourist and property
and the best of them is permanent residency, which, as its name says, is permanent with no expiry date. With it you can do away with the paperwork that has to be renewed every so often, and you can also exercise your rights and start investing in any field you wish.
Conditions for obtaining permanent residency: once a foreign resident has stayed for eight consecutive years, and after the eighth year, they can apply for permanent residency and must submit the following documents to the Directorate of Migration Management:
1residency, continuously and without interruption, for eight years
2_ Not having received social assistance in the last 3 years
3_ Proof of sufficient income
4_ Valid health insurance
5_ Posing no threat to public security
Documents required to apply for permanent residency in Turkey

2_ The applicant's passport and a copy of it
3_ The previous residence permit (student residence, tourist residence, work residence or property residence)
4_ A document showing that the applicant for permanent residency has received no social assistance from institutions or non-governmental organisations in the last three years
5_ Two passport-sized personal photographs
6_ A statement showing that the applicant's income is sufficient for the period of residence
7_ A clean criminal record certificate
8_ Valid medical insurance
9_ An address registration from the civil registry office proving the place of residence

_ How long it takes to receive permanent residency in Turkey
Assessment of a permanent residency application takes four months, counted from the day the application is registered and the papers are submitted, and the applicant waits out that period until the answer, acceptance or refusal, arrives.
Reasons for refusal of a permanent residency application in Turkey: permanent residency may be refused, or withdrawn if you already hold it
1if you do anything that breaches the conditions you undertook to comply with in order to obtain it, that is, if the resident is considered a threat to security
2_ Leaving Turkish territory for more than a year without interruption, except in cases of health, education and military service in the country of origin
