How to obtain a residence document from e-Devlet
The residence document is an essential piece of paper for anyone living in Turkey and is requested for many procedures: enrolling pupils at school, renewing a tourist residence permit or an identity card (kimlik), applying for a licence from the municipality, and it is also required when applying for citizenship or registering with the commission to request resettlement. To spare you the trouble of going to government offices to obtain your address record, the e-government portal has provided a link that makes the whole thing straightforward and allows you to obtain a residence document from e-Devlet easily
It may take you no more than a few minutes: click the link, log in to the e-Devlet portal, enter your kimlik number (TC) and your e-Devlet password, then follow the steps to obtain your civil registry record or your address document in Turkey from e-Devlet.
_ Steps for obtaining a residence document from e-devlet
1_ Log in using your e-government account details.
2- Open the e-government residence document enquiry page:

or by typing Yerleşim Yeri İkametgah, "residence document", into the search bar of the e-government portal
3- Make sure you have read the instructions and the privacy notice before starting the process of obtaining the residence document through e-government. The system presents you with an information text about the service you are about to receive; once you have read and understood it, confirm the option "I have read the information text above" and click the "Continue" button. You cannot continue without agreeing
4- Anyone with an e-government account can obtain a residence document for themselves, their spouse and their minor children. Once you have selected who the residence document is for, click the "Continue" button to carry on
5- We specify the reason for the application and the body the residence document will be submitted to: to an institution, at the request of an institution, or a personal request
6- The residence document is now ready. Click the "Download file" button and download the residence document in PDF format to your phone or computer ..
