How much property was sold in Turkey during 2021
Property sales in Turkey over the first 11 months of this year came to 2.8 million properties.
According to data from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change, last November alone saw 357 thousand 446 properties sold.
October, meanwhile, recorded 291 thousand 853 properties sold.
Total property sales in Turkey from January to November 2021 came to 2 million 768 thousand 262 transactions.
Residential flats in Turkey topped the list of property sale transactions over the same period, at 1 million 231 thousand 524 transactions, followed by land sales at 482 thousand 845 plots, then sales of agricultural fields totalling 731 thousand 825 fields.
The province of Istanbul topped the list of property sales in Turkey with 354 thousand 25 properties, then Ankara in second place with a total of 192 thousand 505 properties, and third Izmir with 134 thousand 972 properties.
