Istanbul's modern financial centre

The Turkish government is seeking to elevate the city of Istanbul

and place it on the map of global financial centres, as the financial centre is being built on land

with an area of approximately 3 million 200 thousand square metres, in the Asian side of Istanbul,

in an area located between the districts of Ataşehir and Ümraniye, and it is considered a strategic location

in the city of Istanbul.
According to a design by Hoek, the project includes an integrated complex of offices

residential units, a conference hall, hotels, and also car parks.

The plan for building the new financial city includes a number of government projects

in the surrounding area, which will develop the infrastructure of the project's area through

new transport lines scheduled to be opened, in addition to using

renewable energy technologies to ensure continuity of operations at the financial centre.

Work is also underway to establish an advanced network of internet lines for the safe and fast transfer of data,

and technology and communications services are considered a government priority in that area.


Importance of the new financial city in Istanbul
1. Opening the door to potential foreign investments in the market
2. Providing the facilities required to obtain investment licences.
3. Providing information related to investment sectors, and protecting investments with a package of

regulations governing operations within the city.

- It lies on the international ring line, allowing easy access to the European side
- The project is 25 minutes from Sabiha Gökçen Airport and less than an hour from Istanbul Airport.
